These general terms and conditions fully govern the reservations of stays made at Camping Lac de Villefort. They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its clients. Each client acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions prior to any reservation of a stay, for themselves and any person participating in the stay.
VALIDATION OF THE RESERVATION
The reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of the campsite, after receipt of the deposit, and after receipt of either the duly completed and signed reservation contract or after acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online. The campsite is free to accept or refuse the reservation request based on availability and any circumstances likely to hinder the execution of the reservation made. The management reserves the right to change the assigned number for the pitch or mobile home.
The reservation of a camping pitch or rental is strictly personal. You may not sublet or transfer your reservation under any circumstances without the prior consent of the campsite. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
CAMPING PITCH
The basic package includes the pitch with 10A electricity for a tent, caravan, or camper for 1 or 2 people, access to sanitary facilities, and equipment. Pitches can accommodate up to 6 people regardless of age. For large equipment (caravan, camper), it is imperative to notify us.
RENTAL
Rental accommodations are equipped. The basic package ranges from 2 to 6 places, depending on the type of rental, water, gas, and electricity included. Sheets and linen are not provided (they can be added at an extra charge and upon reservation). It is strictly forbidden to sleep in the beds without using sheets or fitted sheets that cover all the bedding and the duvet provided.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to families arriving with a number of participants exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation. Additional tents are not allowed on the rental pitch. All rentals are non-smoking.
RESERVATION FEES
The reservation fees are €6 for pitches and €25 for rental accommodations.
PRICES AND TOURIST TAX
The indicated prices are valid for the mentioned period. They correspond to one or more nights depending on the duration of the stay. They are in euros and include VAT.
The amount of the tourist tax may be modified by the community of communes.
PAYMENT TERMS
Camping pitch and rental accommodations
For reservations made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the reserved services must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay.
For reservations made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
In case of non-payment of the balance by the client no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the reservation and re-offer the accommodation for rent, and the deposits paid will be retained by the campsite.
CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION
Reservation Modification
The Client may request the modification of their stay (dates and/or type of accommodation) by written request to the campsite (mail or email) at least 30 days before the arrival date, subject to availability and possibilities.
Any request to extend the duration of your stay will be made according to availability and current rates.
Any request to shorten the duration of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to cancellation and stay interruption conditions.
Any request to postpone the stay is considered a cancellation subject to cancellation conditions. No postponement will be accepted for the following season. In the absence of modification, the Client must complete their stay under the initial reservation conditions or cancel it according to the cancellation insurance conditions.
Arrival date postponement: In the absence of written notice from you indicating a postponement of your arrival date, the accommodation may be made available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned in the contract, and you will consequently lose the benefit of your reservation.
Interrupted Stay
In the case of an interrupted stay for one of the following reasons:
Administrative decision to close borders
Administrative closure of the campsite
Travel limitation to a number of kilometers preventing the client from coming to the campsite.
A voucher equivalent to the unused nights, valid for one year, will be issued by the campsite. In case of the client's refusal of this voucher, they will be refunded, upon request, the corresponding amount minus the cost of cancellation insurance if subscribed.
Outside the reasons mentioned above, any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) due to the client cannot give rise to a refund or a voucher.
Cancellation by the campsite
In the event of cancellation by the campsite, except in cases of force majeure, the amounts paid for the reservation will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
Cancellation by the client
Any request to cancel a stay must be made in writing. Any cancellation results in the termination of the reservation, and the campsite reserves the right to re-offer the accommodation for rent.
a. If you have not subscribed to cancellation insurance:
For one of the following reasons and up to the arrival date:
Administrative decision to close borders
Administrative closure of the campsite
Travel limitation to a number of kilometers preventing the client from coming to the campsite.
A voucher, equivalent to the total amount paid, valid for one year, will be issued by the campsite. In case of the client's refusal of this voucher, they will be refunded, upon request, the corresponding amount.
For all other reasons:
If your cancellation reaches us 30 days before the scheduled stay date, your deposit and reservation fees will be retained by the campsite.
If your cancellation reaches us less than 30 days before the scheduled stay date, the full balance will be retained by the campsite in addition to the reservation fees.
In the absence of written notice from you indicating a postponement of your arrival date, the pitch may be made available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned in the contract, and you will consequently lose the benefit of your reservation.
b. If you have subscribed to cancellation insurance:
The amounts paid are covered by the guarantee according to the general cancellation conditions. If the reason is not covered by the cancellation insurance or if the file is refused by it, the general terms of sales in paragraph 4.a. apply, and the cost of cancellation insurance will be deducted from the amounts paid in case of cancellation.
NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the Camping informs its clients that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date or according to a determined periodicity is not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period.
STAY PROCEEDINGS
Arrival
The reception is open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2 PM to 8 PM.
Camping pitches can be occupied from 12 PM, and arrivals are possible until 8 PM.
Rental accommodations can be occupied from 4 PM, and arrivals are possible until 8 PM. A few days before your arrival, a deposit of €300 will be requested by our partner Swikly. An inventory sheet to be checked within 24 hours will be provided upon request; any claims made after this period will not be considered.
Guests or visitors must be reported to the reception no later than at the time of their arrival.
Stay
It is the client's responsibility to ensure: the campsite declines all responsibility in case of theft, fire, weather, and incidents related to the client's civil liability.
All clients must comply with the internal rules.
Each tenant is responsible for disturbances and nuisances caused by persons staying with them or visiting them.
Departure
On the departure date indicated in your contract:
The pitch must be vacated before 12 PM.
The rental must be vacated before 10 AM.
The rental you are leaving will be checked between 8 AM and 10 AM. If it is vacated in perfect cleanliness, and without missing or damaged equipment, the deposit will be returned to you.
The retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in case the costs exceed its amount.
If the rental has not been cleaned before your departure, a cleaning fee of €90 will be charged.
For any delayed departure, an additional day may be charged at the current night rate.
ANIMALS
Pets (maximum 2) must be vaccinated and kept on a leash at all times. Dogs of 1st and 2nd category are prohibited. Vaccination records must be up to date.
MINORS
For obvious safety reasons (pool, possible evacuation of the campsite in case of weather alert...) or health reasons (possible hospitalization during the stay...) unaccompanied minors are not admitted. Furthermore, Camping Le Dolmen is not authorized, under decree n°2002-883 of May 3, 2002, relating to the protection of minors during school holidays, professional vacations, and leisure, to ensure collective or individual stays outside the family home for minors under 18, not accompanied by their legal guardians.
INTERNAL REGULATIONS
The campsite reserves the right to expel anyone who violates the internal regulations.
DISPUTE AND MEDIATION
Any potential complaint must be reported by mail or email to the manager of the relevant campsite within 30 days following the end of the stay. In case of a dispute, you must send us a letter by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt.
If our response does not satisfy you, you have the option to contact a consumer mediator within one year from the date of the complaint, either electronically at Contact@sasmediationsolution-conso.fr or by mail at the following address: SAS MEDIATION SOLUTION, 222 Chemin de la Bergerie, 01800 SAINT JEAN.
CAMPING RESPONSIBILITY
The client expressly acknowledges that the campsite cannot be held responsible for false information provided by its partners or any third party mentioned in their brochure or website, especially presentation photos, leisure activities, services, and operating dates.
All photos and texts used in the brochure or on the websites are non-contractual. They are for informational purposes only.
DATA PROTECTION
The information you provide during your order will not be transmitted to any third party. This information will be considered confidential by the campsite. They will be used only by the campsite services for the processing of your order and to strengthen and personalize the communication.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and oppose personal data concerning you. To do so, simply make the request by mail to the campsite, mentioning your name and address.
