HOW TO BOOK
Booking requests can only be made with our booking form or on our web site. Once we have received your booking request, your deposit and your booking fee of 20€ we will send you a booking confirmation if there is space available. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. The number of people occupying a let must not exceed the maximum authorized limit.
HOW TO PAY
1- For a pitch a 30% deposit must be paid when the booking is made. The balance must be paid 15 days before the pitch is occupied. Holidays not booked in advance must be paid for between 9.00am on arrival.
2- A deposit of 30% of the total price of the services ordered must be sent with the booking order and the balance paid at least 30 days before your arrival. We accept French cheques, French holiday vouchers, cash and credit cards only in July and August.
HOW TO CANCEL
1- If Camping Universal cancels your booking: Unless caused by events outside our control (force
majeure) leading us to cancel to protect the safety of our clients you will be reimbursed everything already paid except the booking fee of 20€.
2- If YOU cancel the booking: If you cancel the booking before the start of your holidays, we keep the deposit you have paid. If you cancel within one month before the start of your holidays or if you leave before the end of your tenancy as shown on the booking form, you will not be reimbursed. You can take out cancellation insurance. The costs are shown in a separate document.
DAMAGE
Camp-site equipment and installations must be used for their original purpose. All damage to buildings, loss or destruction of furniture and fittings in the lodging or shared buildings must be paid for by the person doing the damage or causing the loss. This applies both to tenants and their visitors. Campers must have third party liability insurance.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
- 300€ for a mobile home
-50€ for a fridge rental
The damage deposit covers losses and possible damage and will be reimbursed within 8 working days after an inspection shows you are not liable for deductions. Your rental accommodation must be returned perfectly clean. If this is not the case, we will deduct 80€ will from your deposit for housekeeping.
Your deposit cheque will either be posted to you or destroy.
Inspections and inventories are only made on Saturdays between 7.00 and 10.00am.
PETS
Your pet is only allowed on the camp site if you declared it when you made the booking and/or it does not disturb the peace and safety of other campers. It must be kept on a lead at all times and have a valid vaccination certificate which you must present. Only one pet per pitch.
Housekeeping charge (clean-up) required for leasing with an animal.
HOUSE RULES AND DISTURBANCES
Peace at night: camp-site residents must obey camp site rules. The barrier at the entrance to the camp-site is closed from 11.00pm to 7.00am and you must not make any noise. Disturbances: Each tenant is responsible for the disturbances caused the people in their party. If any resident causes a disturbance or damages any installation, the camp site owners can immediately terminate the lease agreement unilaterally, without any reimbursement whatsoever without prejudice to any other claims for damages and claims by third parties. The camp-site receives a music group once or two a week which plays until 1.00am.
Swimming pool rules: bathing shorts and jumps into the pool are prohibited.
LIABILITY
The camp-site's liability is limited to its legal obligations and is not responsible for:
•Theft. loss or damage of any kind during or following a stay.
•Nuisance caused by natural phenomena (weather, mosquitoes, hornets, plant louses, etc....)
•Breakdown or breakage of the technical equipment, breakdown or closure of camp-site installations.
Specific measures taken by the camp-site management of to limit access to some installations
Including the swimming pool to respect safety requirements or scheduled maintenance work. The camp-site expressly reserves the right to modify the design and layout of the camp-site.
•The damage deposit does not limit responsibility; the tenant must hold third party liability insurance.
•All disputes concerning the interpretation and execution of this contract and subsequent occurrences will only be heard by the court sitting in Alès (30), France. The applicant for space reservation agrees that he or she has read and is fully familiar with the terms and conditions of this general tenancy agreement and accepts them specifically and in their entirety.
For this reason, the applicant pays a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the Rental plus a 20€ booking fee plus the amount of the cancellation insurance (optional) to Universal Camp-site.
