GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE CAMPING DU VAL

1- PAYMENTS
A deposit of 30% will be required on booking. On receipt of the deposit, you will receive a confirmation email, subject to availability, giving practical information about your stay. For rental accommodation, the full amount must be paid within 30 days of the start of your stay. Please note: your booking option may be withdrawn if payment is not received within 7 days. If the balance has not been paid by the deadline, we will consider your booking cancelled and the deposit will not be reimbursed.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, full payment must be made at the time of booking.

2- CAPACITY
The number of people mentioned per accommodation in our rates corresponds to the maximum occupancy authorised, taking into account the equipment available. It may not be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. The rental of a pitch or accommodation of the furnished holiday home, mobile home or tipi type implies full acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale by the contracting parties.

3- RENTALS
Pitch hire : We can provide you with a bare pitch for up to 6 people to pitch your tent, caravan or camper van. Payment will be made on arrival.
Pitch price: This is a price per night of occupation for 2 people, one installation and one vehicle. Pitches are available from 12.00 noon on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12.00 noon on the day of departure. An extra day will be charged for any overrun. This package gives free access to the sanitary facilities, reception services, swimming pool, play areas and entertainment (in July and August). The tourist tax is €0.55 per night and per person aged 18 and over.
Supplements : Additional persons (adults or children) or items present on the pitch (electricity, second vehicle, pet, etc.) are subject to a daily charge.
Please note: pitches are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The Management reserves the right to change the allocation of the pitch when the camper arrives.
Rental of accommodation :


Definition of rental seasons: Please refer to the price list.
Rental periods and duration: Rentals are possible for a week or for two nights or more, except in July and August. In July and August, accommodation is rented by the week from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday, depending on availability.
The rental price includes: rental of the accommodation, charges (water, electricity up to a maximum of 200 kW per week), access to reception services, swimming pool, play areas and entertainment (in July and August).
The tourist tax is €0.55 per night per person aged 18 and over. Rentals are available from 4.30pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. An extra day will be charged for any delay.
Security deposit: Tenants must provide a security deposit of €150 on arrival. This will be returned in full on the day of departure after a satisfactory inventory of fixtures and fittings. If this is not the case, the following will be deducted from the deposit - The value of any missing items
- A lump sum of €60 for inadequately cleaned facilities.
- The cost of repairs in the event of damage caused by the occupant.
- Any damage in excess of the amount paid as a security deposit will be charged to the customer after deduction from the security deposit.
Your stay
To prepare for your stay: It is essential to bring your own bed linen (sheets, pillowcases) unless you are renting sheets. In the event of a late arrival or last-minute cancellation, it is essential to inform our services. The key to your accommodation will be given to you on arrival.
It is strictly forbidden to light fires on the campsite.
During your stay, we ask you to respect all the signs and safety instructions as they will be posted to you, and to return the keys to your accommodation.
On the day of your departure, the accommodation must be vacated by 10 a.m. by booking a time slot with reception.
You are asked to leave the property as clean as you found it. An optional cleaning service is available for 60€.

4- PAYMENT FOR YOUR STAY
The booking of the stay becomes effective only after confirmation by our services and payment by the tenant of the deposit. Pitches - Rentals : The balance of the stay must be paid without any reminder from us 30 days before the date of arrival.

5- CHANGE OF STAY
Changes to the dates of your stay will only be accepted a minimum of 30 days before the initial date and subject to availability.

6- DELAYED ARRIVALS / EARLY DEPARTURES
In the absence of a written message from the camper stating that he/she has had to postpone the date of arrival, the pitch or accommodation will become available 12 hours after the arrival date stipulated in the rental contract, and full payment for services will still be required. No discount will be granted for late arrivals or early departures.

7- PROMOTIONS - LAST-MINUTE SALES
On these occasions, customers may have paid different prices for the same holiday. Customers who have paid the higher price will under no circumstances be entitled to a refund representing the difference between the price they have paid and the promotional price. Discounts may under no circumstances be combined with promotions.
8- CANCELLATIONS
Rental accommodation Cancellation of stay by Camping du Val BEFORE your arrival: In the event of force majeure, the management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons.
Cancellation of your stay by you BEFORE your arrival: you must notify the campsite in writing (recorded delivery letter, email with acknowledgement of receipt). If you fail to do so, you will be required to pay the full amount due under the contract.
The campsite would like to remind you that, in accordance with article L.121-20-4-2° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, transport, catering and leisure services provided on a specific date at a specific time.
Cancellation insurance* may be taken out, otherwise no refund will be made.

*Scope of cancellation insurance
This is a guarantee of reimbursement of what you have already paid, if an unforeseeable cause beyond your control forces you to cancel your trip or holiday.
Risks covered by this insurance Cancellation insurance covers cancellations following :
Accident, death, illness (including relapse or aggravation) of the insured or one of the persons accompanying him/her.
Serious material damage to the main residence or to your vehicle, accident to your means of transport
Complications of pregnancy or a pregnancy not known at the time of registration for the trip (and contra-indicating the trip).
Convocation for an organ transplant.
Contraindication to vaccination.
Professional impediment: transfer, redundancy, change or cancellation of paid leave by the employer.
Obtaining a paid job or work placement.
A summons to appear before a court.
Refusal of a tourist visa.
Theft of your identity papers or travel ticket.
An adoption notice.
Situations not covered
Cancellation insurance does not cover the impossibility of leaving due to the material organisation of the trip by the organiser (tour operator, airline), including in the event of a flight and/or its failure (strike, cancellation, postponement, delay) or due to accommodation conditions.
In any event, cancellation insurance does not cover a change of mind.

9- PETS
Pets (categorised dogs prohibited) are allowed in our accommodation and pitches under your full responsibility and must be kept on a lead.

10- RULES AND REGULATIONS
All campers are required to comply with the campsite's internal rules and regulations. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the contract.

11- COMPLAINTS
Any complaint relating to a stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 30 days of the stay.
12- DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute, and after having contacted the campsite's 'customer service', any campsite customer may refer the matter to a consumer ombudsman, within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint, by registered letter to the operator. 13- LIABILITY OF THE CAMPSITE
The customer expressly acknowledges that the campsite may not be held liable for the communication by its partners or by any third party of false information mentioned in the brochure or on the campsite website concerning the presentation photos, descriptions, activities, leisure activities, services and operating dates. All photos and text used in the brochure or on the campsite website are non-contractual. They are for information purposes only. It may happen that certain activities and facilities offered by the campsite and indicated in the description in the brochure are withdrawn, in particular for climatic reasons or in the event of force majeure as defined by the French courts.
Furthermore, the campsite cannot be held responsible in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, etc.
14- INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND FREEDOM
The collection of personal data, its use for processing orders and compiling customer files and its distribution to third parties responsible for the execution and payment of orders is subject to the consent of the person concerned. The processing of personal data, which is collected and kept by the seller for the sole purpose of the proper administration of orders and commercial relations, is subject to a declaration to the French Data Protection Authority (Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés). Personal data is only kept for as long as is strictly necessary for the service provided. The service provider only collects and uses data that is strictly necessary to satisfy the needs and services for which it was collected. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, the beneficiary of the service has the right at any time to access, modify, rectify, object to and delete personal data concerning him or her, or to limit the processing and portability of such data. The data controller is our administrative department, to whom all requests on this subject should be sent in writing to the campsite address, stating your full name and address. The service provider includes personal data protection requirements in all its new procedures and service offers. The service provider shall refrain from disclosing any information relating to its customers or their property to which it may have gained access in the course of providing its service. Nor will this data be transferred to a country outside the European Union.
