GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Booking conditions: All vacationers undertake to comply with the internal rules of the campsite, which are posted at the reception on the campsite website and available upon request. Any reservation implies the acceptance of all the general conditions of sale as well as the internal rules. The reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of the campsite, after receipt of the deposit and after receipt of the booking contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general conditions of sale during the online booking. The reservation of a camping pitch or rental is made strictly on a personal basis. Under no circumstances can you sublet or transfer your booking. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. A dwelling is intended for a specified number of occupants. It may not be occupied by a higher number of people. The campsite manager is entitled to refuse any additional persons. The wishes of the customers regarding camping pitches and rentals will be taken into account by the management, however no guarantee is given as to their realization. The final assignment to individual clients will be based on their booking order.

Rates: The indicated rates are guaranteed until March 1st of each year. The campsite reserves the right to change rates at any time after the date indicated. Stays will be charged on the basis of the rates in force on the day of booking, subject to availability. It is advisable to check the applicable rate by contacting the campsite directly. Offers and promotions are not retroactive and cannot be combined. The rental rate includes water, gas and electricity consumption (except for some monthly contracts).

Royalty: Rates are inclusive of tax. Any change in the applicable VAT rate occurring between the time when the rates were determined and the invoice of the stay will result in a consequential change in price. For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the total amount plus the booking fee must be paid at the time of booking at the campsite. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay. In the absence of full payment 30 days before arrival, the campsite reserves the right to consider that the reservation is cancelled. The amounts paid as a down payment are retained by the lessor. For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking at the campsite. The accepted payment methods are cash, cheques (not allowed for bookings less than 30 days from arrival), ANCV holiday vouchers, bank transfers and credit cards. The sums paid remain permanently acquired at the campsite. Each adult vacationer must pay a tourist tax of € 0.44 per night and per adult and an eco-participation of € 0.16 per night and per adult. The tourist tax is collected by the campsite and returned to the municipality. The cost of the tourist tax will likely change during the year and may thus impact on the total amount of the stay.

Your stay: The rentals: The accommodations are rented from 15h to 10h. It is strictly forbidden to be more than the number of people in the dwellings indicated in the title. It is also forbidden to set up tents or other structures on the plots of accommodation. All our rentals are non-smoking. Pitches: The pitches are rented from 2:30 pm to 12 pm. For any delayed departure, you may be charged an extra day at the price of the night in force. The pitches cannot be occupied by more than 6 people. Double axle caravans are prohibited.

Security deposit: In case of accommodation rental, a deposit of 400 € is required on arrival. If he has not taken the cleaning package, the cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant. In the absence of cleaning performed by the customer before departure, the cleaning package will be retained on the deposit or 40 € per hour of cleaning. The deposit is returned on the day of departure, after the inventory, if the rented property does not present any damage and is in perfect condition of cleanliness. Any breakage, obvious damage (soiling, uncleanliness ), deterioration or loss will be charged and deducted from the amount of the deposit according to the repair invoice and/ or restoration.

Traffic, parking and vehicle charging: Within the campsite, vehicles must drive at a speed limited to 10 km/h. In low season and high season, the campsite gate is closed at night. Opening and closing times will be indicated at reception. Only vehicles belonging to the holidaymakers staying at the campsite may drive through the campsite. Parking is strictly prohibited on a site other than his own. It is forbidden to charge electric vehicles in the campsite. Silence must be total all night. If you have to leave before opening or after closing the gate, it is essential to park outside the campsite.

Animals: Dogs are allowed for a fee (except 1st and 2nd category dogs), with their current vaccination certificate and tattoo card. They must be kept on a leash and must not in any case remain alone or be free in the campsite. To enter the dog park, there are obligations to follow (see rules of procedure). From June 2025, the campsite will have a dog park with facilities adapted to the leisure of dogs. Vaccination against kennel cough and rabies vaccine will be mandatory to enter this park and thus take advantage of these infrastructures. The vaccination record can be requested at any time.

General data protection regulation: In application of the GDPR, your personal data are used exclusively for the use of Camping La Venise de l'Ouest in the context of its commercial activity. They are kept safely and for a period corresponding to the mandatory regulations. In accordance with the law, you have a right of access, rectification and deletion.

Image: By accepting these General Conditions of Sale, the customer expressly and free of charge, the company Camping La Venise de l'Ouest to photograph or film it during his stay and to use on all media photos, videos or sounds, and this without time limit. This authorization applies to you and the people staying with you. The purpose of this licence is to promote and encourage the institution. This licence is granted free of charge.

Dispute and mediation: If, despite our desire to fully satisfy you, you have complaints, we ask you to immediately inform the person responsible for reception on site who will endeavour to provide you with an answer. If you have a dispute with our establishment, you can contact us by sending a letter by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the manager of the campsite concerned. If you are not satisfied with the response, within one year of your written complaint, the consumer, subject to article L.152-2 of the French Consumer Code, has the option of submitting a request for an amicable resolution by mediation on the following website www.cm2c.net or by post: CM2C - 14 rue Saint Jean 75017 PARIS.

Liability: The Company will not be held responsible, due to the communication by its partners or any third party, of photographs they have declared their rights, false information, misleading or erroneous which would be mentioned in the catalogs or on the sites of the partners, and in particular the presentation photos, the qualifications, the activities, the leisure, the services and the dates of operation. All the photos and texts used on the website of the campsite are non-contractual. They are for information purposes only. The campsite is not responsible for theft, loss or damage of any kind (vehicle or other) during or following a stay, as well as in case of breakdown or unavailability of technical equipment. For your personal guarantee (theft, damage) or damages caused by you in the rentals, it is essential to ask your insurer for a resort extension to your multi-risk home. Children will be under the supervision and full responsibility of their parents.

Cancellation, modification and interruption of stay: If we are forced to cancel a reservation that we have confirmed to you, we will notify you as soon as possible, by e-mail; the sums paid will be fully refunded to you by bank transfer at the latest within 30 days of the cancellation notification and after receipt of your RIB by Camping La Venise de Ouest. This cancellation will not give rise to the payment of damages. Camping La Venise de l'Ouest offers an optional cancellation and interruption of stay insurance distributed by MEETCH. This insurance covers the cancellation of a stay in case of illness (hospitalization), serious accident or death, claims resulting in significant damage to your home, dismissal or change of your leave due to the employer, by summons to an examination or before a court. The specific conditions of this contract are available upon subscription or on request by email. At the time of booking online or by phone/mail, the client has the possibility to subscribe the cancellation insurance offered by Camping La Venise de l'Ouest. The amount is a percentage of the total amount of the stay. If the customer has taken out MEETCH cancellation insurance: the customer contacts the Meetch provider directly and is reimbursed for their stay according to the terms of this contract. If the customer has not taken out MEETCH cancellation insurance, the following specific conditions apply:
No refund or discount will be granted in the event of late arrival or early departure. In the absence of a written message from the client, stating that he has had to postpone his arrival date, the location becomes available 24 hours after the arrival date stipulated by the rental contract, and full payment of the services remains required.
Any cancellation must be notified to us by all means in writing on a durable medium (by email, registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt, etc.).
If your email/mail is submitted up to 31 days before your arrival, the amount of the deposit paid, the application fees paid, remain with Camping La Venise de l'Ouest. If your mail is presented less than 31 days before the date of your arrival, all sums paid to Camping La Venise de l'Ouest remain with him. Camping La Venise de l'Ouest will not refund you for any reason whatsoever.

RULES OF PROCEDURE

1. Admission and residence conditions
To be allowed to enter, settle or stay on a campsite, you must have been authorized by the Camping La Venise de l'Ouest or its representative. The latter is obliged to ensure that the campsite is kept in good order and that the rules of procedure are observed.

By staying on the campsite, you accept and agree to comply with the provisions of these rules.
No one may be domiciled there.

2. Police formalities
Unaccompanied minors will only be admitted with the parents' written permission.
Pursuant to article R. 611-35 of the Code on the entry and residence of aliens and the right of asylum, Camping La Venise de l'Ouest is obliged to have an individual police record completed and signed by the customer of foreign nationality upon arrival. It must include:

1° The name and forenames;
2° The date and place of birth;
3° Nationality;
4° The usual domicile.
Children under the age of 15 can be included on a parent's record.

3. Installation
Outdoor accommodation and related equipment must be installed at the location indicated in accordance with the instructions given by Camping La Venise de l'Ouest or its representative.

4. Reception office
Opening hours depend on the seasons, so it is better to inquire at Camping La Venise de l'Ouest.
At the reception desk you will find information on campsite services, refuelling facilities, sports facilities, tourist attractions in the area and other useful addresses.
A system for collecting and processing complaints is available to customers.

5. Display
These rules of procedure are posted at the entrance to the campground and at the reception desk, and given to each client upon request.
For classified campgrounds, the classification category with the mention tourism or leisure and the number of sites tourism or leisure are displayed.
The prices of the various services are communicated to customers under the conditions set by decree of the minister responsible for consumption and can be consulted at the reception.

6. Departure Terms
Guests are advised to notify the reception desk of their departure the day before.

7. Noise and silence
Guests are asked to avoid all noises and discussions that could inconvenience their neighbours.
Sound devices must be adjusted accordingly. Door and trunk closures should be as discreet as possible.
Camping La Venise de l'Ouest ensures the tranquility of its guests by setting times during which silence must be total. The use of sound enclosures is strictly prohibited.

8. Visitors
After being authorized by the Camping La Venise de l'Ouest or its representative, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers who receive them.
The client can receive up to two visitors per day, from 10am to 9pm. Outside of these hours, visitors are not allowed. The services and facilities of the campgrounds are accessible to visitors. However, the use of this equipment may be charged according to a tariff that must be posted at the entrance of the campsite and at the reception desk.
Visitors' cars are not allowed on the campground.

9. Traffic and parking
Inside the campground, vehicles must travel at a speed limited to 10km/h.
Traffic is permitted during the gate's opening hours.

Only vehicles belonging to the campers staying at the campsite may drive through the campsite. Parking is strictly prohibited on the sites usually occupied by accommodation unless a parking space has been provided for this purpose. Parking should not hinder traffic or prevent new arrivals from moving in.
The charging of electric and/or hybrid cars is prohibited for safety reasons.

10. Installation Maintenance and Appearance
Everyone is obliged to refrain from any action that could affect the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, including sanitary facilities.
It is forbidden to throw sewage on the ground or in the gutters.

Household garbage, waste of any kind, paper, must be disposed of in the trash.
Washing is strictly prohibited outside of the containers provided for this purpose.
The laying of linen is tolerated until 10 hours in the vicinity of the accommodation, provided that it is discreet and does not disturb the neighbors. It should never be made from trees.

Planting and floral decorations must be respected. It is forbidden to plant nails in trees, to cut branches, to make plantations.

It is not permitted to demarcate the location of a facility by personal means, nor to dig the ground.

Any damage to vegetation, fences, grounds or campsite facilities shall be the responsibility of the person making the repair.

The space that has been used during the stay must be maintained in the state in which the camper found it when entering the premises.

11. Safety
a) Fire.

Open fires (wood, coal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Stoves must be maintained in good working order and not used under hazardous conditions.
In the event of a fire, notify management immediately. Fire extinguishers are available if necessary.
A first aid kit is located at the reception desk.

b) Theft.
Management is responsible for items left at the office and has a general duty to monitor the campground. The camper remains responsible for his own facility, personal effects, and must report to the person in charge the presence of any suspicious person. Customers are advised to take the usual precautions for safeguarding their equipment.

12. Games
No violent or embarrassing games may be organized near the facilities.
Children must always be under parental supervision.

13. Dead Garage
Unoccupied equipment may not be left on the field, only with the agreement of management and only at the indicated location. This service may be paid.

14. Animals
The general behaviour of the animal must be consistent with a public establishment. Dogs and other animals must be tattooed or marked. They must never be left loose. They must not be left at the campground, even locked up, in the absence of their masters, who are civilly responsible for them. Their droppings must be collected. Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited. From June 2025, the campsite will have a dog park with facilities adapted to the leisure of dogs. Vaccination against kennel cough and rabies vaccine will be mandatory to enter this park and thus take advantage of these infrastructures. The vaccination record can be requested at any time. In case of check of this book on the part of the campsite and if it is found that the animal does not have its vaccines up to date, access to this park will be refused. In case of non-control of the vaccination book by the campsite, and if an animal transmits any disease, the owner of this animal is entirely responsible: the campsite declines all responsibility. Dogs must not be left alone in the dog park, they are under the full responsibility of their owners. The access doors to the dog park must be closed at every passage. The animal is under the sole responsibility of its owner for any injury it may cause to other animals or humans within the campsite. It is not allowed to pet an animal without prior permission from the owner. For children, this must be done under the supervision of parents. Any damage caused by an animal to third parties and/ or camping equipment stems from the responsibility of its owner. The amount of damage caused by the pet during the stay will be charged to its owner. If the animal causes damage or inconvenience to the campsite's holidaymakers, or displays aggressive behaviour, the campsite reserves the right to exclude its owners and the animal without compensation. The owner of the animal must have civil liability insurance and declare his animal on it. For hygiene measures, at the end of your stay in a mobile home, the household must be particularly careful.

15. Violation of the rules of procedure
In the event that a resident disrupts the stay of other users or does not comply with the provisions of these rules, Camping La Venise de l'Ouest or its representative may orally or in writing, if it deems necessary, to put the Prime Minister on notice to cease the disturbances.

In the event of a serious or repeated breach of the rules of procedure and after being required by Camping La Venise de l'Ouest to comply with them, it may terminate the contract.
In the event of a criminal offence, Camping La Venise de l'Ouest may call on the police.
